Fresco is a technique of mural painting made upon semi wet lime plaster, that is why this kind of paintings became an integral part of the wall. The most recognisable fresco was made by Michelangelo in in the city of Rome in the Sistine Chapel.

Today this method is used very oncommonly, but more and more popular have become murals. In fact fresco is a sort of mural, because mural is a piece of artwork coloyred or applied directly on a wall, so we may say that Banksy appers to be XXI century Michelangelo and he may have the same popularity like the wounderful artist who lived in the XVI century among contemporary citizents. Now when we say murals wall and scenes appear in front of us, most of the time with antiwar and anticonsumerism slogans. Mural is a kind of art and it is directed for the big audience. In a large number of cities there are whole quarters ornamented by murals - Explore Demural. They turn up in large walls, murals wall and great space that is the best connection, most of the time these pieces of art are painted on great apartment buildings.

Sometimes murals are placed on public buildings (such as train stations) or constructions which are made for transport for example in the city of Cracow (Poland) where one of the roundabouts was painted with mural which presented a very big box of water colour paints, what is important – this mural is entirely legal and it connects with memories about primary school and childhood. Murals are mostly high classed works with a nice technique, maybe that is the reason why many people want them in their houses - wall murals read. Today wall colouring is very widespread in an indoor spaces, so we have got kids room murals with vehicles or toys, kitchen murals with fruits and green plants and guest rooms with beautiful sunset. Of’ course these works can be much more complicated therefore we could have kitchen murals with for example an ancient cook at work, in general with everything that we imagine. It is just a question of our needs and o’ course the tallent of an artist.

Fresco was famous in from XV to XVI century and it was very expensive, nowadays we could have got a part of these times – a wonderful mural simply in front of our eyes in our spaces and homes.
